Disability appliances and aids:

For most people with disability, access is a major challenge that limits their movements and full participation in day to day activities and presents many barriers to children with disabilities. Though focus is on the rehabilitation of Children with disabilities, KCH also produces appliances and mobility aids for adults hence providing an opportunity to people with disabilities to participate in their communities by supporting them with appropriate mobility aids and appliances. The orthopedic workshop comprises of four production units and is fairly equipped and staffed to produce a wide range of appliances and equipment that are used by both  clients within and from out including other rehabilitation centers and related organizations. Assistive devices and mobility aids are a matter of equity for people with disabilities as they facilitated their access to education, work, and social life and increase their independence
