INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF PROVIDERS FOR SUPPLIES, SERVICES AND WORKS FOR PERIOD: 2026-2028 (REF: KCH/SUPLIS/SRVCS/WRKS/2025/001)

Katalemwa Cheshire Home is interested in suitably qualified bidders to submit sealed bids for purposes of pre-qualification for the following category numbers and corresponding description of supplies, services and works as specified below and on our website www.katalemwacheshirehome.org for the period 2026-2028.

Lot 1: Supplies

  • Assorted food items such as rice, maize flour, beans, nutritious foods
  • Assorted office stationary
  • Office furniture,
  • Motor Vehicle & motor cycle spares & accessories
  • Medical & Orthopedic supplies
  • Timber supplies
  • IT equipment like; Computers, Printers, Cameras & other IT office equipment

Lot 2: Services

  • Orthopedic workshop/ Assistive Technology machinery servicing and maintenance such as CNC router, Oven among others
  • Generator repairs & maintenance
  • Electrical Appliances, Repairs & Maintenance
  • Motor Vehicle & motor cycle repairs, servicing & maintenance
  • Professional office cleaning, compound maintenance & fumigation services
  • Accommodation, Conferences, Tours & Air ticketing
  • Courier services & Vehicle Hire; both in-town & upcountry
  • Catering, Engraving & Branding services
  • Documentation, Evidence Collection, Project & Programs Evaluation services
  • Asset valuation, Insurance & Assurance services
  • Radio Talk shows & On-spot messages
  • Security services & Consultancy services (Human Resource & Financial Risk Management)
  • Consultant Engineers

Lot 3: Works

  • Building Constructors & Construction materials
  • Architectural Services
  • Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding; a procedure contained in the KCH finance policy and procedures manual as well as the government of Uganda’s PPDA Act 2003 and is open to all bidders.
  • Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Katalemwa Cheshire Home Head Offices and submit the bidding documents at the same address listed:

    • 8Kms along Gayaza road
    • Branch off at Mperewe along Namere-Kitezi road.
    • Follow the sign post 200m
    • between 10:00am to 5:00pm on working days.
  • A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by bidders at the address in No.2 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 50,000. Payment will be made only in cash at the same address and shall be receipted or can be deposited on our bank account as listed:

  • Pre-qualification submission must be delivered in triplicate; one original and two copies and deposited in the tender box of address in No.02 above, before 5:00pm Uganda local time by 28 November 2025 clearly marked “pre-qualification of supplies/services/ works- 2026/2028 respectively, late bids shall be rejected.
  • Bidding will be opened in the presence of the bidder’s representatives who choose to attend at KCH Head office at 10:00am Uganda local time on Monday 15 December 2025
  • Those with PPDA registration certificate will be an added advantage.
  • All applicants must indicate name and address (Postal, Physical location and telephone contact) of the firm and must be accompanied with copies of;
    • Certificate of registration / incorporation
    • Trading license for the year 2024
    • Valid income tax clearance certificate
    • Bankers and Audited financial reports for the last 2 years
    • Proof of payment
